Florum Vale

Florum Vale

Florum Vale is an overgrown dungeon full of fearsome flora, inspired by Saint Mocianne's Arboretum and Aurum Vale.

As part of Gridania's adventure-friendly initiative to bolster their local Adventurer's Guild and reward those adventurers who have been incredibly helpful (though only if accepted by the elementals), the Lavender Beds were set aside as an adventurer's housing district. However, trouble is found wherever adventurers congregate. In one house, an overeager team of botanists aimed to recreate the marvelous variety of Saint Mocianne's Arboretum before the Sharlayan Exodus let the flora run wild. Unfortunately, they were a bit too effective, and now the Lavender Beds are at risk of becoming another abandoned district. Can any adventurers brave the depths of the Florum Vale and cut these plants down to size?

Seeds are purchased from vendors in residential areas, and the different colours are achieved by adding red, blue, or mountain (yellow) pomace while the flowers are growing. These flowers can be crafted into a variety of glamour items such as corsages or jewelry; they are also used as housing decor by placing them in vases or leaving them unharvested in their flower pots.Basement

Mandragora Nursery

Mandragora Nursery

Mandragora Nursery is a small greenhouse where we are currently studying some rarer subspecies of mandragora. The common version of this seedkin can be found abundantly in La Noscea around Summerford, and also in the Black Shroud around the Honey Yard.

The enigmatic mandragora were first observed in the aftermath of the Seventh Umbral Era. It is not known whence they came, or if they even existed prior to the Calamity. There are those who insist that the diminutive seedkin are sentient, but further research is required to confirm such speculation.
